Stories of human trafficking appeared on Kyiv subway train
On the occasion of the World Anti-Trafficking Day IOM Ukraine and plusone social impact have created a subway train unveiling the realities of human trafficking.
During one month, a train on a subway blue line train will feature the stories of forced child begging, sexual and labor exploitation, survival sex, and exploitation in armed conflicts.
The risks of exploitation often hide in unexpected and seemingly reliable places, making it crucial to remind people about these risks in an unconventional way. That’s why we chose the subway as an unconventional space to raise awareness.
The visuals are linked to the video stories dedicated to different forms of exploitation.
All stories are based on real life examples of modern slavery and were created within a nationwide campaign “They used you”, implemented by IOM Ukraine together with plusone social impact.
