The Ukrainian Climate Office communication strategy
Ukraine is working on its climate policy, aiming to jointly with Europe to become climate-neutral by 2050.
Continued support for Ukraine, especially through programs like the Ukraine Facility, hinges upon the quality of its climate policy. Implementing green reforms is crucial not only for enhancing energy security but also for advancing European integration.
The beginning of russia’s war against Ukraine put green reforms on pause. Now Ukraine continues its work, taking into account factors that should now be considered. Thus, climate policy becomes an important condition for effective green recovery and recovery based on the principle of building back better.
The Ukrainian Climate Office is currently helping develop and implement Ukraine’s climate policy. It serves as a center of excellence on climate policy matters under the C4CA project, led by GIZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
