Illusions may be deceiving. Look again
According to IOM statistics, every second person in Ukraine is willing to agree to at least one risky proposition that may lead to human trafficking, exploitation, or violence.
The “Illusions may be deceiving. Look again” campaign urges people to remember: among those offering a job or a help, there may be fraudsters. They are skilled at deceiving and creating the illusion of a beneficial, safe proposition.
Three campaign videos illustrate the most common situations of deceiving individuals in the search for employment or assistance.
The creative solution is to draw parallels between eccentric visual illusions and illusions of a better life created by fraudsters.

They make beautiful promises, but in their words, you can see manipulation: the absence of official company documents or clear information about the work, reluctance to sign an employment contract, or share the terms of assistance.

The campaign advises contacting the free hotline 527, where you can learn more about the risks of exploitation and receive advice on the situation a person is facing.

The situations and potential consequences are detailed in an exhibition installed at the railway station in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
